The Longest Christmas Ever

Guys, this was the longest Christmas ever!  I mean, don't get me wrong, we were glad to have it.  But man, everything about 2020 is so weird and backwards.  Starting at the beginning of December our kids' school went all-virtual (having barely gone a month in-person).  So Christmas Break officially started basically with Thanksgiving break with everyone home full-time.

And if you're like most people, or like us, I guess, you probably started doing Christmasy stuff right around or after Thanksgiving.  So, by the time we got to the weekend after Christmas, we were like, um, we still have three more days of Christmas break!  What in the world do we have left to do?

So, we decorated our tree for New Year's, made yet another batch of cookies....played another few last rounds of Whovilleopoly (Autumn's favorite!), played with our Christmas gifts, and just soaked it in....the longest Christmas ever.

  1. At least you had some activity-it's quiet when you are retired and only two of you. We played/play lots of games...and watch too much news!
