Perspective



Yesterday was downright hairy.

I was trying to do too much, which, as you can imagine, happens from time to time.

I think the kids enjoyed it for the most part.
At various times throughout the day, they were covered in dirt (head to toe), drenched with water (the result of an indoor water fight), and covered in paint.

Ah, Motherhood...The only way to survive is to keep it all in perspective.
Not an easy task.

But looking at this photo, the messes sort of fade away...in my mind, at least.

  1. Seeing our kids happy is all we need to make our life seem great dispite the hectic day we have. Its so nice to have that gospel joy in our lives.

  2. i wish i had many more pictures of the the sweet times my kids had/have. it would be nice to take a peek through them when they are not so kind to each other.

  10. It's just that right after a moment like that it gets hairy again. Wish those moments lasted longer, but still glad they happen at all!!
